300-Word Bio (Articles, Features, Detailed Press)
I.K. Randhawa (pronounced I.K. Ran-dha-wa) is a British Punjabi Sikh author and Internal Explorer on a mission to guide those suffering from internal chaos and emotional overwhelm through deep internal exploration toward peace, purpose, and personal freedom.
Born and raised in the United Kingdom, Randhawa spent six years training to become a solicitor (2018-2024), dedicating everything to a prestigious career path that looked perfect from the outside. During the 2020 COVID lockdown, while working from home and battling burnout, she discovered the transformative power of journaling—a simple practice that became her gateway to Internal Exploration.
In early 2024, Randhawa failed both parts of her Solicitor's Qualification Exam (SQE). Her lifelong fear of failure had come true and instead of devastation, she found freedom. Recognising the profound significance of her experience, she resigned from her legal career and spent 14 consecutive months writing her debut book, Facing Fear, Finding You (published in December 2025).
The book introduces Randhawa's original frameworks: the Four Faces of Fear (Physical/Internal × Temporary/Permanent) and the Black Cat metaphor for amplified internal dangers. The Internal Explorer Protocol—five pillars of Curious, Contrarian, Creative, Conscientious, and Critical Thinker—was created while writing her book, which she uses to guide people towards empowering self discovery.
Randhawa is committed to exploring humanity's greatest internal challenges with an intuitive, soul-driven approach rooted in personal experience rather than external research. The Fear Series is just the beginning of her mission to map the inner world, with future explorations planned for trust, integrity, grief, and beyond. Each book serves as a demonstration of inner exploration, empowering readers to become Internal Explorers themselves.

Book Description
What if the greatest enemy holding you back wasn’t outside you, but the fear you’ve never faced within?
In Facing Fear, Finding You, British Punjabi Sikh author I.K. Randhawa offers a raw, soulful guide to understanding fear—not as something to flee, but as a powerful teacher with the potential to reveal who you truly are.
Your scared self isn’t your true self. This book invites you to face that fear and uncover your true self, one honest, courageous step at a time.
Inside, you’ll learn how to:
Distinguish between the Four Faces of Fear
Understand how you amplify dangers (Black Cat metaphor)
Break patterns of self-sabotage, doubt, and internalised anxiety
Identify how you’ve been responding to your unconscious permanent internal fears, and how to change that
Create emotional safety in an unpredictable world
Build internal safety skills that can actually serve you
Snap yourself out of automatic fear-responses using conscious responses
Blending poetic insight, sharp metaphors, and evocative illustrations, Randhawa’s debut is for anyone who’s ever felt frozen, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward. You won’t find recycled advice here, only hard-earned truth and tender encouragement. Facing Fear, Finding You serves as a companion through your most overwhelming moments.
This powerful debut is also the first volume in The Fear Series, an exploration of internal fears and the courage it takes to overcome them.
Stop running. Start facing. Your freedom lives on the other side of fear.

What Readers Are Saying
"I learned to distinguish real fear, when the threat is truly present, from the fear that exists only in my mind. The fear of being unloved kept me in relationships where I wasn’t loved. The fear of not being enough kept me working in places where I felt unhappy, and so on. These fears do not protect — they destroy. And this book gives freedom."
Olga
“Her metaphors are powerful, such as describing the “permanent fears” as a colony of parasites that burrow deep into your mind, feeding on your weaknesses and doubts. And calling our internal fears "rats," is an apt depiction, since they are quick, sneaky and multiply when ignored!”
Grace
“I uncovered an unexpected money fear I hadn’t ever engaged with before—at almost 50 years old and as a lifelong student and explorer of all sorts of personal development work (including lots of work around money,) that’s a powerful testament to the value held within these pages!”
